Although, many of my students in Korea and elsewhere are cold now, and are having to deal with going to work in the snow and crossing icy streets, I am sitting here in my Florida home, with a short sleeve short, and with the windows open to let the nice air come in. It is a beautiful warm, sunny day here. No cold has invaded my peace and serenity at this time.
That is not to say that I do not like four seasons. I may be inclined to envy people who have four seasons because variety is good and healthy. However, I cannot complain about comfortable fall days that are ideal for walking outdoors. Walking is another thing I do in my spare time when I am not playing Minecraft or Anipang. There is a green zone in the back of my home, with a nature trail. I can walk and reflect on the things of nature. Watching the birds make my day wonderful! There are so many kinds of birds here. I love this place. I love my piece of the earth even though I am not the owner of it, but a resident of it.
I need to enjoy warm days since we do have a few very cold days too, but they are not long-lasting.
